One of the parties had even come in after us, so it definitely wasn't off to a good start. The chips and dips were good and we really enjoyed the taquito appetizer. Other than that the food was mediocre at best and the service was about the same. The fried ice cream was a huge disappointment. Will definitely not return as the … – show
Bland as bland can get. Service was good but the food was garbage. Who's idea was it to put frozen peas, carrots, and corn in the Mexican rice?
I found the Carnitas to be fairly flavorless. The Spanish rice was acceptable as were the refried beans. The salsa is fabulous but it could be a bit more spicy. The weed stuff are incredible. The restaurant is clean.large TV screens to watch the game. Plenty of parking. Probably will not return.
This was one of our favorite restaurants and we have gone here for a few years. We loved the chips, salsa, beans, and carne asada! The last three times that we have gone to La Costa, we have noticed that the carne asada had very little to no seasoning or flavor. The fajitas were also very bland. The beans are still amazing though. We are hoping that these problems get fixed. We miss going there!
I absolutely love Mexican food. I’m surprised to say that I don’t think anything was made with any spice. I usually have my food made with extra red sauce since I absolutely love my food hot and spicy. There was absolutely no zing or hotness whatsoever. Even the sauce isn’t spicy, but rather sweet. If you don’t like spicy food then this place is a solid 4—5 stars for you!
