Boulder Tap House - Ames

Very comfortable..extremely friendly ...amazing service ..and to die for food..everything we ordered was top of the line!!! EMILY was our servers name and she was on point with everything and even helped us pay it forward to a deserving soldier and his family

I had lunch yesterday with my son; and, this is now my favorite place in Ames to eat. The food was amazing and I really like that it's a family owned chain. The owner even assisted us personally with a slight issue. This review is based on the environment (very clean and well decorated and food (great variety, fair priced, and yummy! . Reviews based on service should be ignored .... simply because service in every food establishment in Ames is pretty darn poor. ; Well done ... I hope they add more throughout Iowa

I have visited this restaurant just 2 times. The first went as you would expect. Food was prompt, hot and well described on the menu. The portions are very large. My second visit went well with just one small issue with my order that was fixed immediately, no questions asked. Again the food was delicious, unique and hot! This place has easily became my favorite place to eat in all of central Iowa.

The food was excellent! Our waitress, Becky, was fantastic and attentive. I highly recommend this place!

Food was delicious!! First time ever having sea salt and vinegar fries, definitely worth trying. Will return, great addition to Ames
