Surprisingly good Asian food at a good price is found in Iowa.

I used to visit this place frequently during my college days, and it still remains a lovely spot. The owners are welcoming, and the food is delicious.

One of my favorite places! I try to visit Le's whenever I can, though it's not as often as I'd like. It's a charming little restaurant that's tucked away, always clean with prompt and professional service. I always start with their cream cheese wontons, and every entrée comes with a delicious egg roll, plus a choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup—I personally prefer the hot and sour. My favorites on the menu are the Mongolian beef and curry.

I had a delightful lunch featuring a combination vermicelli that was bursting with flavor. I requested it to be made spicy, and it hit the perfect level of heat. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. The service was excellent, and I look forward to returning when I'm back in the Ames area.
