Amherst General Store

Never been there, won’t ever go. I support the LGBTQ+ community and any business who openly criticizes them will never get my business. Everyone has their own thoughts, feelings, opinions etc… but it’s incredibly poor business practice to get involved publicly the way they did.

I like the wide variety of LGBTQ+ supporting goods that this store sells. It’s nice to see in a rural and mostly conservative community. Keep up the good work, Amherst!

Bought a summer place out their way. I'll drive 20 miles back to town for supplies instead of shopping at this bigoted place. Besides, not enough Bud Light. And I don't even drink beer. :

I’m so thankful for this little gas station along Highway 9. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the prices are fair, and they have an excellent selection of ice cream, including whoopie pie!

Charming little country store with friendly and helpful staff. They offer freshly baked cookies every morning!
