Henion Bakery - Amherst

Really excellent bakery. Very recommended and they also do to order cakes. The owners are really nice and accommodating. There are also large coffees and teas on the fly.

I made sure to try both Sweet and Savory options. The bread was definitely my favorite. They could taste that they were more passionate about their baked goods. The chocolate croissant was pretty dense and laborious. They had a good amount of items to choose. So, I'll keep that on the list of places to try again.

Popped by for an impromptu sweet treat to go with my coffee. Holy smokes! Hands down the best glazed donut I've ever had. Ever!

Henion bakery recently made our wedding cake. Working with them was such a pleasure, they made everything easy and stress free. The cake was not only beautiful but absolutely delicious! We got the golden pound cake with strawberry buttercream filling and white vanilla icing. Our guests loved the cake and so did we.

This place is a jewel lost in the middle of Amherst. The only really good bread in miles and miles. Of course, you can find good pastry here and there, even better than the ones they have at Henion. But good, honest, delicious high-quality bread, that's the only place in the region. Buy a baguette, go home and enjoy.
