Hometown Pizza - Amory

I ordered a 12-inch club sandwich with fries and a drink for delivery, but they called me back to let me know there was no ham, fries, or Coke available. I then asked them to switch my order to a Philly with BBQ chips. Instead, I received a 6-inch Philly with classic chips and no drink at all. When I called to address the issue, they confirmed that I had ordered and paid for a 12-inch sandwich, but I would have to drive to the store to pick up the other half of my order. So what was the point of paying for delivery? I won't be returning. Service: 1 star.

This is the only pizza I genuinely look forward to enjoying. As a parent of four, we end up eating pizza more frequently than I’d prefer. However, the food is consistently delicious, hot, and fresh. The staff is friendly both with customers and among themselves. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.

My daughter, 3 grandchildren and I visited 7/13/23 after my appointment with Benjamin Boatright MD in Amory. We loved the food, service, atmosphere, checkered table cloths, and pizza deco. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others. I have been to several Hometown Pizza franchises in northeastern Mississippi, and this one doesn’t meet the standard others have set. Granted, the pizza was good, but the building is rundown looking on the outside, the interior is pretty spartan (just a few tables), and unlike other HPs, it lacks a salad bar. When I walked in, it was very quiet and 6 people including 3 employees we all glued to their phones. I was going to dine in, but opted to carry out. This location could be SO much better.
