Atmosphere was amazing; nothing like eating crab cakes with a gorgeous view of the harbor. Whoever complained about corn and raisins in their rice pilaf might have deeper problems to be worried about. Btw I had raisins in mine but it was an excellent side to the peachy goodness of well-prepared crab meat with jam and ginger. Appetizer of steamed mussels was 4/5, and peach cobbler dessert with ice cream was excellent; this was one of the few times I was able to order dessert without a previously full stomach. I had the seared halibut that was one of the evening specials, and it was devine! It had a lemon beurre blanc sauce and chive oil. Absolutely delicious! My husband had the cod fish and chips. He said the fish was moist on the inside and crispy on the outside, not greasy! It was a delicious meal! This restaurant looked promising but it ended up being hit and miss. We both ordered from the fresh sheet the halibut dish, which was excellent, and the black cod, which had a few issues. Not sure why one would put breading on a nice piece of fish and not mention it in the menu. For a person who is gluten intolerant this is useful information, but mainly disappointing to receive breaded fish at this price range. The basmati rice pilaf had corn and raisins, which is unusual and deserved mentioning on the menu as well. We expected better. I will say, after hearing from the restaurant manager about this review, that they seem interested in customer feedback which is to their credit.
