Casa Rangel Authentic Mexican - Anaheim

I visited Casa Rangel a while back and wasn’t particularly impressed at the time. However, we decided to give it another chance tonight, and I was pleasantly surprised! The tacos were absolutely delicious, and the interior has been updated and remodeled. We ordered carnitas street tacos, shredded beef crispy tacos, and chicken crispy tacos, and all three meats were incredibly flavorful. They offer complimentary chips and salsa, and there's a soda fountain as well as a salsa bar. Before leaving, we spoke with the manager and learned that the restaurant is under new ownership and has a new chef! I’m not sure if it's still officially called Casa Rangel since the sign has been taken down, but I believe the name may have changed. I highly recommend checking out this newly renovated restaurant!

I enjoyed a steak burrito that I purchased from this place, but unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience. I found a black, rusty screw in my mouth, and I won't be returning.

The restaurant recently changed ownership, and unfortunately, the food quality has severely declined. I ordered the meatball soup and a burrito, and I can honestly say I've never experienced such poor food quality before. It’s clear they need to make some improvements.

Eating is decent, it is hit or measures depending on what they order. I'm not a big fan of burritos here, but the tacos are good. the staff is very friendly, but they gave me the wrong one, the last time I was here, so they had to get the food back. they have recently rebuilt so that it is much more modern and open. if they are in the opposite, they should rather visit Mexican restaurants.

Just came back after a few months. The whole menu and place has changed. Ordered the Huevos Rancheros and it was probably the best I have had. Highly recommend!
