Catal - Anaheim

We have eaten here several times and our meals always good, this time however the meals were Great! My wife had the Filet Minon she Loved it the taste that I had was like Butter. I had the New York with Foie gras in top Wow what a combo. I only wish they would serve larger portions of Foie gras. The steak was cooked exactly how I ordered Medium. The waitress, for the life of me, I can't remember her name she was such a nice professional young lady oh and let's not forget knowledgeable about the meals. Great time at the park and a Great Meal to end!!

So it was our 21st wedding anniversary and we decided to go to Downtown Disney for dinner. Never been to Catal but our experience was perfect. Cresslyn was our waitress and she is fantastic. I had the Lobster paella which was very good but the hit of the evening was my wife's short rib dish. Nothing short of amazing. We will definitely make Catal a regular stop in our dining excursions.

Like many of the Downtown Disney restaurants, expect great service and delicious food. This seemed to be the most quietest out of the downtown restaurants so a very nice spot if you want to get away from the crowds and have a nice conversation. The crispy calamari was perfectly battered and seasoned. The filet mignon was so tender, just would love some more of that butter because it enhanced the steak even more. The salmon was perfectly cooked, flaked right off and was not dry at all. Would definitely come again.

We visited for the fixed-price menu on Thanksgiving, which also happened to be our anniversary dinner. Each course—the appetizer, entrée, and dessert—burst with amazing flavors. The wine selection was exceptional, and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the options. I highly recommend dining here!

The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I started with the pulled pork maize arepas as an appetizer, and they were incredibly tasty - I loved them! Then we had the fish tacos and American burgers, both of which had the best flavor I've ever experienced in a burger, especially with a beer. The Tuti Fruti Martini was also the best I've ever had. I can't wait to go back!
