El Gaucho Meat Market Anaheim

What a gem! I'm a huge fan of empanadas, and this place serves them up deliciously and at an excellent price. The milanesa fries were fantastic as well. I also picked up some maté (Argentine tea) and pastries filled with dulce de leche from the market section—definitely worth trying!

I visited today to try the milanesa sandwich, choripán, and meat empanadas. Everything was delicious, and their chimichurri was really good. After eating, we explored the market area and bought some Argentine products: alfajores, sándwiches de miga, pizzas, mate, dulce de leche, and facturas. I just wish I lived closer to this area; I would definitely come here every week!

How can you claim to be a meat market when your asado is untrimmed, fatty, and of poor quality, with large chunks of pure fat? There’s just too much fat; how can you even barbecue with that? I've tried purchasing from you multiple times and have been consistently disappointed with the quality and selection of your asado. The picanha and chorizo are fine, but you really need to improve your sourcing for asado. I will continue to drive to Titos or even to LA for better quality meat. Also, why was an older gentleman wearing glasses handling my meat with his bare hands? No gloves or tongs at all?

The food here is fantastic, especially the empanadas! As a Peruvian, I appreciate that they also offer products from my home country!

The food here is excellent, authentic, and delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant. Having lived in Argentina for many years, my Argentinian palate is quite demanding, but this place truly meets my expectations!
