Menus are on QR codes, and a server magically appears to take your order after a few minutes. Vegetarian review: nachos: these can be vegan or vegetarian, and were pretty good. I wish it were heavier on cheese, but that's just me. Guacamole, beans, sour cream, and tomatoes were all good. Beware, the jalapeños are fresh and spicy. classic burger (with an impossible patty). Standard, solid burger. Fries were crispy and addicting. impossible nuggets: it looks like a kids meal, right? The nuggets were perfectly done and were a delightful throwback to an old favorite. Parking: a small parking lot is available, and so is street parking.
Been meaning to try this brewery for awhile and my friends and I had a blast! It was a chilly evening, but we sat outside since they had plenty of heaters at every bench that kept us warm the entire time. We all ordered different beers but they were all so so good, each with their own unique flavor and aroma. They have a jumbo TV playing movies or sports, a corner to play cornhole, and the outside is dog friendly!
Golden Road Brewing is located across from Angels Stadium in Anaheim California. With a great proximity to the stadium, this has to be a hopping place on game days. Tonight's visit was for an event, Boards Brews and Screws, put on by Capital Lumber. This was my first visit to Golden Road Brewing. While parking is a bit sparse, there is a parking lot. The overall feel inside is like a giant open air warehouse, with beer and food. I spent the majority of my time here outside in the back patio area. They have an area for you to take your dogs as well if you're a dog lover who goes drinking with your mutt. The outdoor area is pretty cool. Lots and lots of picnic tables and open air seating with a view of the Angels stadium. They serve a lot of what I would refer to as foo foo beers. Flavors galore and a ton of IPA beer which I am not a fan of. The Mango Cart and Blonde Ale were the winners for me tonight. Both had a lot of flavor and were light and refreshing. Two totally different flavor profiles as well, as the mango cart is somewhat fruity, with a high ABV content. I highly recommend giving it a try. Golden Road Brewing is a cool place in a great location. You can't ask for a better outdoor drinking and dining experience. While I didn't order food here on this occasion, I did see some tasty looking dishes come out of the kitchen. And based on the volume of patrons, I'd say it must be good or they wouldn't be as crowded as they were. Especially, since baseball was not in session yet.
Go here for the atmo! We went on a beautiful sunny day with my pup and the vibes were immaculate. It was my puppy's first brewery outing and I would 100% bring him back here. Very pet friendly! The brewery itself is huge. There's lots of seating inside and outside, plus there was corn hole too! It was pretty full when we came so we sat at the bar for awhile until a table opened up. For drinks, we opted for two guava carts (you can get tajin on the rim- v important!! and then my bf got a michelada (very yum, def order this . Okay now food...we ordered the Al Pastor Fries and the Popcorn chicken (we love nuggies lol . SKIP the al pastor fries. As good as they sound (and look , the Al pastor meat was just not it. The flavor was just...off and it almost tasted like curry but not in a good way. The fries themselves were crispy and tasty but I could not get past the taste. The popcorn chicken was just popcorn chicken, it never fails. We also ordered the Mangonada dessert and it was refreshing! Overall I would come back just for the vibes. Great atmo to get a little tipsy with some friends and you can bring along your pup!
Came here with a group of 10 for my boyfriend's birthday and it was very difficult to find a place to sit because it was so packed, but we just put two tables in the corner together. 2 of my friends got food poisoning and felt very sick the next day. The Shishito Peppers were decent though, and the Guava Michelada was good. I also really liked the Tropic Thunder.
