My wife and I went to Strawberry Field on a hot evening to check out the place. The restaurant was very crowded and no one was available to seat us. We noticed that the restaurant had two levels, with the lower level being full. We decided to go to the almost empty upper level and found a table, although it was dirty and the chairs were scattered. We cleared the table ourselves and made space for us. However, we soon realized that it was very hot upstairs. When we asked the manager why, he told us that the AC was not working. It was unbearable, so we decided to leave. We were relieved to get out of the hot and unresponsive restaurant. Most of the patrons were young people in their 20s who were there for the company of their friends. They seemed not to mind the heat and the messy environment.
My wife and sons suggested we stop by this restaurant on Sunday night, February 9th, as they were intrigued by the appearance of the place. I was worried about finding parking, but was able to park right in front of the door. The decor immediately caught my eye, with tables and chairs made of bamboo tubes and interesting murals on the walls giving the place a tasteful and chic feel. The menu mainly consisted of snacks, and we tried their classic hot dogs paired with fruit sodas. The hot dogs were delicious, although the sodas could have been improved by using real fruit instead of synthetic flavors. The prices were reasonable, but using real fruit would have made them more fitting. Overall, it's a great spot for a younger crowd, but if you're over fifty, you may feel out of place.
This restaurant is in a fantastic location for business, with the GCC nearby. It's also a great spot to catch up with friends or have a romantic night out. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The nuggets are especially tasty, but I would recommend avoiding the "fruit blast" drink. Overall, a great spot for a meal.
After a hectic, stressfull and a sleepless night a sip of
