Hood Wings - Anchorage

I haven't had wings this good in a long time, possibly ever. The staff was friendly and professional. I will definitely be coming back soon.

AHHHHHMAZZZING....we got our wings Togo half hot momma and buffalo wings, I used the groupon to try them out and my family and I was really impress, they are by far the BEST wings I had in a while, I wish they had more location, considering we live on the south side but they are worth the drive :

Ditto what Orange said. And I will add; our family loves the hot wings! This is a family owned buisness and feels like family when we eat there. We have had things delivered as well. Never a problem. Tje atmosphere is awsome and the owner works his butt off. Idk about the poor service I have read about, but myself and my family appreciate supporting local establishments and this is one to suport IMHO. Thank you Hood Wings!!!

I had the best wings I've ever had at Hood Wings. Despite the negative reviews, I decided to give it a try with a coupon in hand. The store is tucked away at the end of a corridor in Northway Mall, but the kiosk style setup was welcoming. The staff greeted me with smiles and friendly attitudes when I approached the counter. I ordered half 'HOT' style and half 'Buffalo' wings, and was impressed by the quality of the furniture at one of their tables in the Mall hall. The wings were fresh, hot, and delicious, served simply in a basket with celery, carrots, and blue cheese dressing. I was able to enjoy them while watching a Lakers vs. Celtics game on their large flatscreen TV. I was so impressed with the wings that I ordered more to take home. The total came to $44 for 50 wings, which were ready in less than 20 minutes. My family loved them just as much as I did, as there were none left the next day. Overall, Hood Wings exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be returning.

I tried the hot wings, they were perfect IMHO. Crunchy skin, juicy inside, not too spicy- just right. I also had the homey fries. Very original! Like a cross between a potato chip and tater tot. Tasty and inventive. Good stuff.
