Humpy's Great Alaskan Alehouse

If you're in town and craving freshly caught and cooked king crab legs in a laid-back sports bar atmosphere that feels like a local hotspot, look no further than Humpy’s. In addition to the crab legs, they offer king crab nuggets, sandwiches, and a selection of other local seafood and game, including salmon, halibut, bison, and reindeer. Our group of four tried a range of dishes, all of which were fresh, hot, and served well, with great presentation at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place!

The best fish and chips I've ever tasted! My wife also loved the halibut tacos. The beer selection is exceptional, featuring many local options on tap. As for vegetarian choices, there are plenty of terrific fish dishes available.

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. Our only issue was the noise level; it was quite loud, making it difficult to think or unwind while enjoying our drinks. However, when it comes to the quality of the meal, we give it a thumbs up. It's also conveniently located near Westmark.

If you’re in Anchorage, either before or after a cruise or land tour, I’d heartily recommend Humpy’s for a fantastic meal. This was mentioned by our coach driver from the airport, Lena, and was an excellent recommendation. For smaller appetites, the starters were a very generous size and how someone could eat one, followed by another course, is beyond me. Two of us shared the brussel sprouts (absolutely delicious) and the chicken tenders which were beautiful. Service was efficient and polite; if you don’t already know, you cannot order alcohol in Alaska without ID, even if you’re my 75 year old mum. The server was able to explain this without sounding arsey and he did his job well. Nothing fancy but for good, home cooked food, Humpy’s is a winner. Oh and the berry crisp was GORGEOUS! If we were here longer than a night, we’d definitely visit again.

A great local spot for dinner. There was live music playing in a bar/resturant with real character. The staff was very friendly, efficient and fast. The food was prepared well and was hot when delivered.
