Mad Myrnas - Anchorage

I would go to 49th State Brewery or Wiliwaw. They have much better food, music and overall general atmosphere.

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton just a block away and were pleasantly surprised that a gay bar was so close. We went on a random Tuesday, both before and after dinner. The earlier bartender was pleasant and very attractive. Later, a different bartender was less chatty but had more patrons. The place was pretty quiet, making it easy to talk and socialize. The drinks were good and not expensive (compared to San Francisco). In all, a very nice surprise!

A group of Friends and I took in the anuual production of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Absolutely hysterical! The cast was fantastic and talented. Friendly upbeat atmosphere, Great drinks at fair price. Stick around for the dancing. The staff is helpful and courteous. We did not eat. I am not aware that this estabishment served food and I have been here many times.

A comfortable LBGT friendly club, a venue for Sweet Cheeks cabaret. Myrna's staff friendly and helpful. My husband and I came to see the cabaret show. Great talent of singing and dancing. Loved the show, had a great time. Live band too! Bartenders are attentive and quick, drinks are reasonably priced. Disco after nine. Parking off street.

I went in had a few drinks. Did not eat. I did not find this place very accepting or pleasant in any way. I don't dress that neatly but my money spends like anybody else's does. I felt ignored and in a unfriendly place. If you are young and dress well likely you would be received better. This is how fickle people can be,
