It was a toss up between that and the jalapeno poppers, but the extremelypolite server recommend the cheese. She was excellent. The drunken cheese was delicious. Plenty of everything, lots of shrimp, veg, and of course cheese. The tortillas were absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the Alaskan halibut with lemon dill sauce.I 'm trying to limit what I eat to mostly proteins, so I ordered a dozen wings (I had also asked the server if they were goodwings and she assured me that the wings were good and popular), and a half rack of ribs. First the halibut. My wife was happywith it. She said it was a bit firm, so I asked for a bite. I 'm not a fan of halibut. Mainly because I prefer a fishy tastingfish, and halibut is just way too bland for my liking. I took a bite of the halibut with the lemon dill sauce and IMMEDIATELYwas hit with a fish taste. I didn 't mind it, but at the same time, that 's not what I was expecting from halibut. I don 't know.I 'm not saying it wasn 't halibut, because I don 't eat enough to be a connoisseur of it, but I know why I don 't like it. Bottomline, she was okay with it. I 'm still a little suspect about it. On to the chicken wings and the ribs. Ohh the chicken wings.I 'm 100% sure I know how these chickens were killed before they were made into these wings. They were starved to death. Theywere skin and bones and fried hard. The wings claim to have the house rub on them, but I didn 't taste any rub at all. They weretasteless without sauce. Some people enjoy a skinny wing. I 'm not a fan. I like a wing with some meat on the bone. I didn 't sendthem back because I rarely send food back in fear of repercussion, disagreement of my opinion from BOH, and I don 't want to waitall over again. I ate them first because I knew they wouldn 't keep if I had to take anything home. They
Ignore the Most relevant reviews they are not! Fabulous food and service especially the seafood and ribs. The creme brulée is to die for! We will return here every time we are in Anchorage. Sadly underrated restaurant.
Pros: This place is a hidden gem. I have been here several times now and have never had a bad meal. The mushroom risotto is my favorite—it’s on the appetizer menu but it is definitely entree sized. Cons: My only complaint is that service is consistently slow but it appears they are short staffed and that’s difficult especially during dinner rush. I understand but it does decrease the experience. Overall, I recommend this place 100%. Try it before dinner rush!
It was not too busy or crowded. The service was good. The drinks tasted great. Lots of drink options on the menu. I liked my food. There should've more salt on the stuff peppers but it had good flavor. It came with a side caesar salad. The jalapeño poppers were good but it felt like it was missing something. They were presented nicely but was really missing the texture component. Traditionally they're deep fried with traditional bread crumbs and I was missing that. The entrée portions were nice and much bigger than some other fine dining restaurants. I'd go back and probably order something else next time.

Fall right off the bone tender. I tried a bite of the slaw that came with. It was so so. It could use allot of help. Back to the ribs. If you like a rib with a bit more tooth, these aren 't the ribs for you. If you like a rib that just falls apart by looking at it, these are for you. They 're rich and delicious. I 'd order them again. That night, we were one of maybe 2/3 other tables plus the bar. They weren 't slammed by any stretch. Service was perfect, food was so so. Bottom line, it was alright. I won 't be putting this on the top of my must revisit list.
