Overall, it was a good experience. I visited twice and left satisfied both times. On my first visit, I tried the Cheeseburger, which was fantastic, and on my second, I had the Chicken Fried Steak. The burger was definitely the highlight; it was cooked medium well and was perfectly juicy. The Chicken Fried Steak was a bit greasy and could have benefitted from draining for a few minutes. The potatoes were tasty and served hot, and the vegetables of the day—seasoned carrots—were crisp and well-prepared. While the steak was decent, it couldn't compare to the burger. It was well-cooked but a bit overly cheesy for my taste. Overall, it was a solid experience with pleasant service.

I discovered this restaurant in a tourist brochure while in Anchorage. After dining at some pricey spots downtown, we were looking for a more affordable option, and I'm so glad we chose this place! The parmesan-crusted halibut served on angel hair pasta was fantastic—so fresh and all for under $25! I can’t wait to return. The service was excellent as well, and we only had to wait 15 minutes on a Friday night. It’s a smaller restaurant with a relaxed vibe, and there’s an interesting piece of artwork on the wall.
