I got the escape from momos, garlauch naan and a couple of lamm appetizers to share with my vater (sorry I started early dementia and can't remember the names! and it was the perfect size of the portion because we both finished everything and were the perfect level of the fill. I've had momos before, but this restaurant has a signature sauce that makes them serve to die! I could drink the sauce from my own! the naan was addicted, and not too much of a strong garlic taste. everything was warm and delicious, served with tamarinden and (power?) chutney. I'm not sure, but one of the chutneys was green and it was absolutely delicious. I have even used the cauliflower as a vessel to eat the sauce, it is so good. I would definitely recommend to come here. I almost forgot! I also have samosas and they were huge! but very good and fillable :
This is our favorite place in anchorage. as soon as they leave, they are often eaten. good, hot, affordable, tasteful, authentic food for all - veg, gf, etc! my wife and I love sharing an app and a naan, before the heaping entree of momos. so happy we found this place.
We love the Palak Paneer and get it regularly. I’m always torn when I visit Yak Yeti because the Nepalese dishes are wonderful but the dessert dishes are amazing. Especially the Moreo. This could definitely be a desert destination point in itself.
That is a Nepalese restaurant, not an Indian. Nepalese eating is a regional cuisine that is used to tibet, so that people who expect a diverse selection that represents all india are disappointed.
Eating was great, service was great. in any case would go back.
