Baeckerei-cafe Baumann - Andermatt

Just returned from a 2 week trip in Europe, including Switzerland, and at this time were in many cafés/restaurants. This is the only place we have restored bad service. Lady came over the table service offered and took the order. My partner gave his order and just as I looked at the counter to show her what I wanted her to leave. I understand that there is a communication barrier, but that was rude and we felt as if she hadn't wanted us there. I could buy some baked goods myself. At the end of our visit my partner went to pay for food / drink and fought with the card as the transaction would not go through. We found after leaving that the card was 0.30 € on as the total invoice. When I came by to see what took so long, I was shocked to see the lady with her head in her hands, who bored quite openly as if she could not be harassed with the trouble. Then she gave a job to one of the ladies behind the counter and disappeared to which I could easily sort the bill with another card. The two ladies behind the counter were absolutely good, but the lady on the table service was shocking and must work on their customer service. Please teach all employees Manieren when handling customers.

The only bakery in the village offers good pastries and a slightly more uninterested service. Something confusing about ordering calories at a place and coffee at the table.

Fantastic bakery on the main strip, this is a good thing as it was the only one in Andermatt. Cake and bread we tried were all great, coffee was just fine, but I would strongly recommend to go there for the bakery Goodies!

We 've been using this small bakery coffee shop for around 8years now. Every time we pass through Andermatt this is where we choose to stop for coffee and cake or a sandwich lunch. It 's very clean and modern, it has lots of tables and seating...inside and out, and the toilets are clean and tidy. (The 'girls ' always comment on how nice they are) We usually park in the surface carpark just opposite by the co-op market.

Sehr gemütliche Konditorei, befindet sich auf der Hauptstraße der Stadt. Große Auswahl an Desserts und verschiedenen Kaffeesorten. Es gibt heiße Schokolade.
