There was much less breading compared to Anderson Express, which I appreciated. It costs a couple of dollars more, but it's definitely worth it if you're in the food court. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.
I always assumed this was a hibachi grill restaurant, but I was mistaken. While they do offer hibachi dinners, they aren't prepared in front of you like I expected. We were looking for a place to enjoy sushi since our favorite spot was closed that day. The sushi we had was good, but that's all we ordered. I was surprised they didn't offer spicy scallops, and I noticed that the fried shrimp heads were not served alongside the sweet shrimp, which is something you typically find at other restaurants. Despite these points, we would definitely consider returning. We visited on a Sunday, and it was quite busy with patrons coming in after church.
Our new favorite Chinese restaurant! We used to frequent the one next door for over 15 years, but that's changed. Food rating: 5/5!
This is one of the best places to eat in Anderson. Large portions
Japan Grill is among my favorite places to eat, the service and food are excellent, portions plentiful. The teriyaki chicken is my favorite, the fried rice and vegetables are also very good, not greasy. I can't comment on the egg rolls because I don't usually eat them, but the quality of everything else suggests they're very good as well.
