I really wish the drinks were consistent here. Some baristas know exactly what they’re doing and hot drinks come out really good and others seem to not know how to properly steam milk, or what ratios of milk go in what drinks. If you don’t know how to make a hot drink just be honest and I’ll order something iced.
Sunday 2/12 Noon. They use to have jugs of Cider to make the Hot Apple Cider. They would then stamp the loyalty card. Now you have to use the individual Cider container that’s in the refrigerator. They use that to make the Hot Apple Cider. I give the barrister my money to pay and along with my loyalty card. She then says oh we don’t stamp for this. I said for the last couple of weeks u have stamped the card. She then gives me an attitude. There are two other coffee shops in walking distance that I will take my business to.
This place is a gem. Discovered it on my most recent visit to Andover when I was looking for Stubs (down the street) alternative. Man, what a treasure. Amazing frittata and the sandwiches look fabulous. Best part was the fresh out of the oven pastries and the barista, who patiently answered all my coffee and food questions so I could track my macros.
Love the cafe au lait, and my niece loved her decaf. On a chilly, rainy day sitting by the fire with a hot cup of coffee was delightful.
