King long Angouleme

We have been to this restaurant three times now. It can be busy but not always so. A large choice of dishes, based on more than one cuisine, which are continually refreshed: something for everyone including having your own choice of ingredients freshly cooked. Desserts are mainly ice-cream, sorbet and fruit. The price is fixed: more expensive in the evening, on Sundays and on bank holidays as you would expect but still great value. Food is labelled in English. The restaurant is surrounded by many others and near a shopping complex so a good place to start if you are new to the region. Staff have always been pleasant and efficient but as it is a buffet don't expect to be served your meal. Payment is a the till at the bar.

The choice of food is good, the trays are being filled up constantly with hot, fresh dishes. The wok area has a great selection including lots of fresh seafood that is cooked to your choice...will return again and again...

Too much noise, industrial dishes, desserts (boxed fruits) and utensils to make the ice balls benign in dirty water bins

Eight of us arrived at 1:30pm and shown to our table. Served drinks by a very nice girl but at that point a little disappointed because although the menu says 12year olds pay infant rate we were told not. Confusing info. Because of the time the dishes were empty and they wouldn't fill them and when we went for sweet there was nothing!!!!!! We asked for the dishes to be filled but that was met with disgust and after being adamant they reluctantly opened tins and replenished the cold tinned fruit. We were made to feel we were troubling them. Shocking. Doubt I will be back.

Fresh, wok excellent dishes, lack a little dessert but it's not the highlight of the Chinese restaurant. However, unlike all the other Chinese restaurants or I ate, you have to manage with its dirty plate, on the first night we put them on the table next to the reprobative eye of the waiter who didn’t tell us anything, the second night two boxes were next to the wok to put the waste and covered. This says we ate well.
