Casarão Da Ilha - Angra dos Reis

Realy bad restaurant, service is not friendly, we Waited more than one hour for starter And one and a half for main dish which was cold. Not recomend this restaurant.

We stayed in the nearby Recreio da Praia pousada, so we came to Casarao da Ilha a few times. They have good espresso coffee and Caipirinhas (especial the Jorge Amado! . Nice atmosphere (there's often live music played on the terrace and the service was professional.

The food was okay but the service was poor. They had me waiting for over 30 minutes to simply place an order. I had to go up to the bar area and bug the server multiple times to draw his attention. He kept ignoring me.

AMAZING! The service is sublime, the music is great, the Restaurante is exquisite and the food is divine. I would eat there every single meal if I could but I discovered their qualities in my last night. I managed to have my dinner and lunch on the day after there though.

Good restaurant with nice environment and amazing grilled octopus.
