Very close to the castle and the Anatolian Anthropology Museum. Also close the bazaar. Central and mostly foot traffic. Cozy
I visited this café after a recommendation from a traveller. The interior decorations are beautiful and the menu even comes in a cassette tape cover. There were various vegan friendly dishes, but I decided to make the pasta with sun-dried tomatoes, basil, roasted Italian herbs and walnuts (I took the cheese). It was absolutely delicious, I regret not going back during my stay in Ankara to order more food. There is no vegetable milk, but the Turkish coffee was delicious and naturally vegan. I left an online review and the café reacted that they would consider plant-based milk in the future, so if you go to ask!
Quirky cafe with a good range of vegan and vegetarian options. Great service and a friendly atmosphere, and decor which appeals to the child in us all. Try the Kirit spaghetti it’s delicious (and you can ask for the vegan version). A lovely space off the busy street, with a great little balcony off the upstairs room. We’ll worth a visit.
