Pig 'n Pedal - Ankeny

The food at this restaurant was excellent, but it was very noisy. We visited on a Friday, which is likely the reason for the high noise level. We plan to try again on a weeknight to see if it's quieter. Overall, it's a great place if you don't mind the noise.

Our first visit was fantastic! We definitely plan on returning. The margaritas and food were excellent. This restaurant is exactly what Ankeny has been missing.

The menu had a very interesting selection of items that I wasn't expecting from a sports bar. The service was excellent, and the ham ball appetizer was a standout. I would recommend trying other pork options over the tenderloin, as it wasn't anything special.

Eating was great, but the restaurant was very loud. Now we have come up on Friday, so this is probably a big reason why we try again at a week night and see if the noise level is better. great place if noise levels do not disturb them!
