Pizza Ranch - Ankeny

This restaurant has a fantastic arcade for the kids. You can order specific pizzas, and they'll deliver them to your table during the buffet. I can't complain at all!

I have been enjoying the buffet at this Pizza Ranch for many years, and I can confidently say it's one of the best options available. The chicken is truly exceptional—it's the best I've ever tasted, making it worth a visit on its own. The pizza is fantastic when served hot, and I appreciate that you can request a specific fresh pizza when you check in and pay. My only criticism is regarding the ice cream; it used to be wonderfully creamy and fluffy, but now it has become icy and overly dense. If the management happens to be reading this, I urge you to consider bringing back the old ice cream recipe! By the way, the Newton location still offers that delicious ice cream I used to enjoy at the Ankeny location.

We tried a new restaurant and I really loved the building; it's quite spacious. The staff was friendly, and they had an excellent salad bar along with delicious pizza. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience.

This restaurant is a delightful occasional indulgence. The pizza and chicken are both tasty, and I especially enjoy the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. The dessert pizza is fantastic! Additionally, the arcade provides plenty of entertainment for the kids, allowing me to justify trying more dishes.

I had delivery from this restaurant and was very impressed with the new menu items. The delivery was fast and accurate. Just a heads up: when you order double, the items are packed in the same box. For instance, if you order two portions of potato wedges, they will come together in one box, making it a bit tricky to divide them among your coworkers.
