The Big Salad - Ann Arbor

If you’re a fan of soups and salads, this is the perfect spot for you. The menu offers such a wide variety that it can be a bit overwhelming for first-time visitors. However, that's definitely a positive if you plan to come back regularly. It would take many visits before you might tire of the options. Every time I've dined there, the salads have been fantastic. They're quite filling, so you won’t be hungry again by mid-afternoon. The soups are delightful as well. Be sure to try the large salad; you won’t regret it!

I really enjoy how fresh and crisp their salads are. Plus, being able to pair a salad with a sandwich or soup adds a lot of variety to the menu. The atmosphere is usually quite calm, but finding parking can be a challenge during busy times. They do offer two dedicated 15-minute parking spots for takeout orders, which is convenient.

The prices for the salads are a bit on the higher side, but the quality of the ingredients is outstanding. While the service might not be the quickest, the flavors are delicious, and there are plenty of options to choose from. There's parking available, though it can get busy.

The salads are really big here and the ingredients are fresh. I recommend to them to create their own salat instead of ordering one of their standards. I ordered a standard, but my friend created it herself, and she was much better. we haven't tried the sandwiches yet.

Salad and Salad Maker were great. Enjoyed the salad and soup. Maker was pleasant, courteous, and didn't mind my changes to a pre designed salad. Checkout, however, had major issues! She sets cups, rim side down, on a counter that shows hundreds of finger/hand prints (GROSS). My friend didn't get her roll, and when she tried to tell the girl, she ignored her, and never provided it (my friend eventually gave up and walked away). A customer had issues with a transaction, and the girl stood there, staring at the register, like it would fix itself (instead of communicating with the customer or getting help from a coworker). Horrible customer service from checkout. All other customer service seemed stellar. Checkout may want to reconsider her career choice.
