The Last Word - Ann Arbor

The last word has been one of our favorite places in ann arbor for several years. cocktails are always wonderful and eating is underestimated here. when it was time to throw a big Tiki birthday bash, it was not a brainer to use the new event services of the last word. I can no longer recommend casey and the team. over several months before the party I work with casey and he came with a perfect menu with custom drinks. I gave him the favorite spirit and the cocktail of my manne, and he knocked him out of the park. All our friends could not agree on our favorite cocktail, as all 3 were absolutely delicious. it was so funny, so fancy, and I don't think I'm ever gonna end this party after setting up the last word. work with the last word, and I promise you that you will have the party of the year!

Swanky, low key setting with an excellent cocktail and dining menu loved everything we had and all the recommendations of the staff were on site. recommend a reservation, otherwise they probably need to wait for a seat. both the seats at the tables and at the bar felt a cool experience.

Excellent setting, proper staff in both front and back of house. The chef is friendly and enjoys sharing new dish ideas and always creating a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend! Call ahead, they are always booked on reservations.

One of my favorites (if not my favorite) bar. Amazing food with rotating menu. Live music. Space can get packed with the college scene which can be a good thing because this place deserves the patrons and attention (but i do miss the times when this place was a bit more unknown i don’t love crowds but again this place has great quality of food and bev) so enjoy it. Visited The Last Word recently and got the BBQ Jackfruit Sliders, Fried Chicken Buns, and sea salt fries. Overall the food was really good and my boyfriend and I both left full. Unless you have enough people for a booth the seating is super close together. The server was super nice and helpful but I can’t remember her name (sorry). I really liked the dim lighting. It was a good experience.
