I was lucky enough to be a local on the Island for a few years. Bortells had a full liquor license on the north end of the Island. Enough said :P

Decent food long wait understaffed decent. It pains me to write this. it could be so much better. Im hopeful maybe you will have z as better experience

What a great spot. Patty behind the bar is a terrific person and makes our visits always seem to short! Good food too. I think the owners name is Steve and he's built a very good business!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Bortell's. The staff was excellent, and while the food was enjoyable, it didn't quite reach the level of fantastic. Overall, we had a great time.
