Hometown Desserts - Anna Maria

We have made it a point to visit several different bakeries in the area and conduct our own private taste test. Perhaps we are dessert enthusiasts? It is a subjective opinion, but we found that the key lime pie from Hometown Desserts was far superior to the others we tried. It had the perfect balance of tartness and sweetness with a beautiful crust. For fun, we also sampled a few peanut butter cakes. Once again, Hometown Desserts had the most delicious version by far. It was absolutely fantastic! We were not as impressed by the famous lime cake that receives rave reviews from many, but the peanut butter and key lime cakes are definitely worth trying!

Her coconut key calf cake was fantastic as well as the orange layer cake! can not wait until next year back!

The most amazing bakery with very sweet personal (no pun intended.) the key lime chocolate cake is to die and the key lime cake is close behind. also excellent icy!

My wife and I stayed here almost daily for coffee and a snack during our morning walks around the northern end of ami. beautiful selection of qualitatiw high quality coffees and tasty made it difficult to buy too time! very fast and friendly service for cheap trips. highly recommended!
