The Top House - Annacotty

Have eaten here a couple of times. It’s hit and miss. Sometimes great and other times not so much. Are there recently and it was freezing cold. Not the food that place itself. Not the first time it’s been cold in there. Ruins a nice meal when all you can think about is how cold you are. They need to sort out and up their game.

Vegetarian fajita had no fajita seasioning on it just tomatoe sauce which was supposed to be salsa. Very tasteless.

Was looking for nice place to eat read the reviews here and the menu looked good on line. Didn't disapoint can't think of the girl that served us but she was very friendly and helpful. Menu was great such variety and choice, they had a vast variety of draft beers and ciders on tap, we ordered food and 2 pints or cider they were such lovely pints crisp cold and fresh so good . I had the beef and pulled pork burger ,it was huge , I asked for wedges instead of chios which was no problem . Wife had prawn pil pil with side of onion rings and sweet potato fries. We didn't realise the sides were so big

We ate here during covid and was appalled by the state of the food that ended up on our table! we were just happy to be out. We decided to give it another chance over Christmas and very happy we did. I am not sure if there is new management but the whole place has a different vibe. The staff are all young and very nice and helpful, great service too. The food was delicious... The chicken wings and ribs combo is amazing. It will be my husbands beer, wings and Saturday afternoon football bar from now on.

The food was excellent....the staff very friendly and excellent workers constantly watching if customers require anything and combined gives the place a great atmosphere...I have been all over the world and this is top of the list...go check it out and you won't be disappointed...plenty of parking also..
