Federal House Bar Grille - Annapolis

The restaurant features wonderful colonial-era decor and is situated in the town square. There are ample tables and seating available both indoors and on the closed street outside. The selection of adult beverages was impressive, and I thoroughly enjoyed my fish and chips. The batter on the fish was some of the best I have had in a long time. The only drawback is the lack of parking in the crowded historical area, which is a common issue for businesses in the area.

The service at this restaurant was excellent. I enjoyed the oysters, but the dish with crab that I ordered was disappointing. I believe that both the taste and presentation could be improved.

Really great service here! We attended a private event for a friend?s birthday a few weeks ago and had the best time. The bartenders were very attentive and the food was amazing. It was pretty crowded downstairs when we went to leave, so definitely get there early in the night to get a spot near the bar.

This restaurant is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of Annapolis. As soon as you step inside, you can see that the building is old, dating back to the 19th century, and it has been remarkably well preserved. It is such a historic and charming place! If you're looking for the best selection of beers in downtown Annapolis, this is the spot to visit. They do not offer a happy hour, so the beers may be a bit pricey, but it's worth it for the quality. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. My only suggestion is to add more vegetarian options to the menu.

My husband and I have eaten at Federal House in Annapolis many times. It has become a favorite "date night" spot. We especially love the dogfriendliness of the outdoor patio area. Last week, we hosted a group of fire service instructors from outoftown and took them to Federal House for dinner meeting on Friday evening. Needless to say, everyone left the restaurant as enamored with the food, atmosphere and outstanding service as we are. In addition to being "our" place, Federal House now tops our list as a goto place for business meals
