Patcheen's Pub - Annascaul

We tried the amazing charcuterie and cheese platter tonight. The service was outstanding and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

I ordered fresh cod and chips from the takeaway, but instead received goujons for children. The cod I received was a small and not fresh tail piece. It appeared to have been frozen and then fried immediately. The goujons were also lacking in flavor and freshness. Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of quality in the food.

During a stop in Annascaul while touring Ireland, we decided to take a walk and enjoy a pint of Guinness at Patcheens. It was a fantastic choice! The bartender was superb - friendly, personable, and professional. The locals in Annascaul were warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The conversation over pints was delightful, making for an unforgettable evening. I highly recommend Patcheens!

This restaurant is a must-visit and offers a fantastic local experience. The bar owners are the best I've ever encountered. I absolutely loved this place, it felt like stepping back in time to a cozy neighborhood pub.

I visited a restaurant in Annascaul and ordered fish and chips. Overall, it was average. The portion size of the fish was small, which was disappointing considering the price. However, they made up for it with the generous amount of chips. The curry sauce was delicious according to one of my companions, while another loved the heap of fries. All three of us agreed that the food was good, but we were all disappointed by the small size of the fish given the cost. The waitress who served us was very kind.
