Giraudet - Annecy

We visited two weeks after the restaurant was renovated and we tried the cheese quenelles and the pike and crawfish quenelles. They were some of the best food we had on our trip in France so far, and the service was amazing! The chef was the friendliest man on earth and told us all about the food including ingredients and preparation. The sauces were insanely good and the chef kept giving us bread to sop it up. The desserts were also OUTSTANDING. We got the chocolate pot de creme and coffee pot de come, and the chef gave us his raspberry financier on the house to try it was all incredible the financier was moist and the anglais sauce was super . The pot de cremes were also some of the best I’ve had. Loved the space, ambience, service, and food. Highly recommend!!

We were looking for a light lunch after a busy morning exploring Old Town Annecy. This place provided wonderful food and excellent service — especially at the price! We ordered the soup and quenelles special. One of us had the carrot soup, the other had the wild asparagus soup. Both were VERY good — very fresh tasting, well-seasoned (balanced and quite satisfying. The quenelles were also amazing. We had one order with the tomato sauce and one with the pimente d’Espellete. Both were wonderful! For dessert (yes, we had planned on a “light lunch” but the food was so good we just kept rolling . . . we tried both the financier aux framboises and the riz au lait. The financier was very good; the riz au lait could have had a bit more flavor (personal opinion , but was still quite good. A word to those with limited French language skills: “Les Deux Madames” who work here are very warm, very attentive and charming. But expect that your conversations will be 90% in French. A very small price to pay for great casual food!

Hello, I always feel a lot of fun going to Bourg en Bresse especially at the Giraudet store. On site, quality, choice and variety of products, very pro sellers, tips, smile. Beautiful shop or everything is carefully chosen to calculate and think. I strongly advise.

The staff is in small care and welcoming it is appreciable and makes you want to come back. I come here at least twice a month to serve me as delicious quenelles, special mention to cranberry quenelles, I love sweet salt. Sauce is also good and soups are murder!
