Hamlet Bistro Modern - Annecy

We've been on our way to Tignes and wanted to eat a nice, not expensive, launch. We saw the rating and reviews of the restaurant and decided to give it a try. The meal was very nice, at had dish of the day, which was a duck and mash potato, and a starter which was Chinese chicken food. With a price of 17 Euro, it was reasonable price. English language is welcomed and speaked by the waiters.

Comfortable, good food and music, owners friendly. A place to have a drink, lunch or dîner, to play society games... Good moments really, go and try!

Stopped in for a beer and decided we needed to return the next day. Spent a couple hours enjoying local beer good conversation with one of the owners. Food smelled delicious, wished we'd had time for dinner.

Thoroughly enjoyed the mozarella starter and the food was all round very good, service was polite and conversational, would recommend

Whether you're looking for a quick croissant or scones for breakfast or a full course meal, you get it all at the Hamlet. The food is well prepared and tasty and the portions will keep you going for hours. The menu comprises of local specialities as well as other dishes.The restaurant has a great location right in the centre of Annecy, near the lake and you can sit outside and enjoy your meal under the arcades . Inside, the restaurant is on two levels, catering for groups or customers looking for a more private corner. The owners are bilingual so language is never a problem. This is definitely a place that you don't want to miss when you're in Annecy.
