Was not disappointed. Lovely flowers outside, with some tables too. Warmly greeted by the waitress. The cafe is quaint, and beautifully decorated. Opted for coffee and a traditional French breakfast. Coffee was perfect, as was the breakfast (how do you eat a croissant without making a mess!?.) Priced at €7.20 each inclusive of orange juice and a jug of water, with the additional coffee it came to not much more than the price of one hotel breakfast.Looking forward to tomorrow morning' fill!Staff were very friendly, and could see my GCSE French wasn't getting me that far, spoke out in perfect English
I visited Annecy with my wife and 2 kids for a short weekend (actually looking for a place to stay from where to go visit the Auto Salon in Geneva).Didn't have much time for breakfast on the following day and didn't really feel like visiting one of the usual hotel breakfast restaurants...So I looked up on the web and came to see the name of this place just a few hundred meters from our hotel. It was a nice discovery. The place is small and the area is not fancy, but if you have ever seen the movie Amélie you can appreciate the atmosphere in this tiny, cozy bar.I wanted croissants and pain au chocolat and coffee and cappuccino and delicious treats (like strawberry cheesecake.) and I did get all that.Fresh (warm I mean :-) ) tasty and totally affordable.I would go any day of the week if I was living nearby. am missing it!
In desperate search of a late Saturday brunch we were recommended this little cafe and were very pleased. The staff were all smiles, and tailored a breakfast to our request. Soft boiled eggs, bread, ham, jams, coffee and juice. Super cute atmosphere with vintage China, flowers and random tables and chairs.
Nice place, girly atmosphere, The brunch is about 18 € per p. , it's pricy for the city and for what it is.
We went there for brunch. Food was good, but what we liked most was the atmosphere and the amability of the host.
