Mcduff's On The Rum - Anoka

Looking for somewhere different to go for dinner my wife and me found this this place and stopped in, Let me add this: It is on a golf course, The weather was awesome that night so we sat out and enjoy dinner in the deck, lots of room on the deck, Service was good, the food was good.. it was a nice visit, of course like most bar's in Minnesota they sell pull tabs. So one can take a chance and win enough to pay for dinner and drinks! It is a place we will go back to.

Great food , great service. Can be a little loud at times, large open dining hall. We're there for a great granddaughter 18th birthday party.

Our server was amazing! I cannot remember her name but we were there today around 2. The food was another story. We shared the Au Jus sandwich and we couldn't even finish it. It smelled like wet dog. Disgusting. Overpriced as well. We might come back but only for drinks and the service. NOT for any food.

I've been to McDuff's many times. It's a quirky place. Overall it's a fun place to go. But it has some drama at times. The owner gets INEBRIATED! Yes right in front of the patrons. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes I'm embarrassed for him. Mostly the food is good and mostly the service is good. But again, kind of hit and miss. I've had some excellent food here, but last night my wife and I ordered burgers that were ordered to be cooked medium. They were way over cooked. I really do like McDuff's, so I don't write this to be mean, but in hope to help them improve.

It is unfortunate when a patron of an establishment drives a negative review. When we went to McDuffs it was to enjoy a burger and watch a football game. We arrived just after 6 and there was an individual who was already very drunk. That in itself would not be a problem except for his loud vulgar language. When you're at a bar it isnt expected that there be a lack of swearing, but this individual was profane. What made it worse is the staff seemed to be accepting of this language. It was so bad we had to leave before the football game even began. If you are not bothered by this atmosphere, maybe mcduffs will be good for you, we however will not be heading back to this bar again. There is probably a reason that their review is around 2.5 for the last couple months.
