Legacy Lounge - Ansonia

We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! The food, drinks, and service were all excellent. Special thanks to our waitress Zec, the chef, and the management for making our visit memorable.

We arrived at Legacy with a reservation for 5 and were promptly seated. We placed our drink orders within the first 10 minutes, but unfortunately, we noticed there was only one waitress working. Our food came out one by one in 20-minute intervals. Unfortunately, my mother-in-law waited for an hour for her grilled shrimp, mac and cheese, and sweet potatoes, only to be told they were out of mac and cheese. She declined the offer for another side dish as everyone else had already finished their meals. When we asked for the check, it took an additional 30 minutes to arrive. To our dismay, the waitress charged my mother-in-law 2.55 cents for a coke she had ordered while waiting for her food that never arrived. When we questioned the charge, the waitress did not offer any apology or seek out a manager to address the issue. Overall, the lack of customer service and disregard for our concerns left a bad impression on us. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Overall, my experience at the restaurant was positive. However, our waitress appeared to be distracted and when it came time to pay the bill, she did not give us the option to review it before making payment. Instead, she simply demanded payment. This has never happened to me before.

The food is always delicious and the staff/owners are extremely caring and friendly. The ambience is always on point as well as the music. The vibes are immaculate!

This restaurant is energetic and alive. The drinks are beautifully made. The food did not disappoint. It was tasty came out hot and fresh. The music was great and a variety of music for all ages.
