Their staff are courteous, knowledgeable on the menu items and efficient. For the price, the food does not disappoint because of their concept and creativity in execution...altho the pork belly was a bit dry. But the Lengua and Baboy Damo salad are amazing!!
My group of 7 spent a good 3 hours last night enjoying a 5 course gourmet dinner cooked up by my 27 year old nephew, Aussie trained gourmet chef Kevin Lim Tuason. We arrived at 6pm just a 50 minute trip from White Plains thanks to Waze at the restaurant cum studio/work area/home of owner Benjie Reyes, artist, sculptor, designer, consultant, mentor and creator of award winning old wood furniture pieces which adorned his home. The two level all originally designed dark wood structure can seat over 60 guests overlooking a verdant brightly lit garden...distant sounds of a waterfall provided a cool and calm ambience. Warm, personable service from the staff made us feel immediately at home while cocktails warned our appetite. At the appointed time, a 5 course dinner was served with each of our respective menu choices described in detail by our servers. Each dish from the appetizer, soup, main entree to the two desserts were all mouth watering: a creative and original fusion of a wide array of traditional ingredients that will wake up anyone's taste buds to no end. In short: MASARAP! 5 star kudos to Kevin and his beautiful partner, Keesha! Tahanan Bistro will definitely make your day!
Went there with my hubby last month.. The food and the place is superb.. They made us feel so comfortable and they even gave us a free dessert since it was our anniversary.. It also feels like home because you need to remove your shoes once u enter.. The waiter also toured us to there beautiful small museum..A really must try resto in a hidden place..
