Brasseurs - Antwerpen-centrum

We 're going regularly to Brasseurs and are always delighted by the good atmosphere, the good quality of the food and the nice portions, the no-nonsense but amicable service, in one word: it feels like going to the local (By the way: many customers are coming regularly as I can see. They always have fine menus and these are reasonably priced. The wines are quite expensive, but the choice of wines by the glass is very well. Again: we 'll be back!!

Cosy brasserie. Classic dishes. Limited choice on standard menu card but suggestions menu card makes up for that. I took the steak tartare, 21,5€. If you want a small salad with it, you pay another 3,5€ extra. The dish was tasty but not better or more special compared to other brasseries. The steak tartare included a small portion (cup of 5*7 cm) of home made french fries. I ordered a refill just like the rest of my table compagnons... 2,5€extra pp on the bill. Oh my god... So summarized: tasty classic food but 25% overpriced so left with mix feelings and will not return nor recommend.

I went there with a colleague and business relation (who had made the reservation) and liked the venue, the food and the no nonsense service. The brasserie Brasseur is located at one of the main avenues of the city, without too much disturbance of (traffic) noise on the terrace. The terrace is spacious and covered (which was excellent for the sunny day we had). Service is efficient and no nonsense. The menu offers a wide variety of choices and also has a day special. Prices are midrange but ok for the quality and portions you get. The three starters and three mains were appreciated. The place is popular with lawyers, judges (the palace of justice is close by) and some business people. Don’t see this as a cosy place but rather as an efficient, functional and good quality of food place.

Brasseurs is a very nice restaurant serving quality food. The dishes are full of excellent details and quite refined taste combinations. The daily lunch special is highly recommended.

It's a bit out of the city centre, but i liked it a lot. The shrimp rolls were delicious as was dessert
