The Porkies Original Bbq - Apopka

During times of economic uncertainty, skyrocketing gas prices, and record levels of inflation, it is common for businesses to pass on their increased operating costs to consumers.

The brisket at this restaurant is lean yet incredibly juicy and full of flavor! The portions are generous and reasonably priced. The Texas toast is also delicious. The atmosphere is spacious and welcoming.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Porky's before! I've been a frequent customer for years. Whenever I'm in the Downtown Apopka area and craving pulled pork, this is my go-to spot.

The customer service was terrible. The person at the register was not customer friendly. They were very impatient and impolite. The majority of the food was room temperature. The seasoned fries were just a small handful of salty fries thrown on a plate. The ribs and brisket were very dry. The quality of the food was not worth over $50 for 2 meals and extra ribs and fries. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I finally got to try this place! O M G this spot is super fire! Old school bbq joint! The lady behind the counter helped me pick out the Monster Ribeye Samich! Check this bad boy out in my photos!
