Cafe Flade, Snjezana Gudalovic

Great food- we went for a very late lunch/ early dinner. We were happy the kitchen was open! The schnitzel was the best I’ve had in a long time, pounded thin and a very tasty breading.

The meal was good, nicely served the service was personal and very friendly even though no English was spoken.

Absolute mess. As soon as you sit down and order an Aperol, you are immediately shown the door. Please do not go here, the landlady is absolutely unfriendly and unreasonable and if you are already there: under no circumstances give a tip. If you could give zero stars, I would have. Pooh!

Beautiful traditional restaurant in the middle of Appenzell. Large selection of typical dishes. Very nice service and price/performance is absolutely right. The food was very good.

Very good food. Unfortunately it took a very long time to arrive.
