Cakes Delight - APPLECROSS

To be honest, we go back every year to more birthday. the green tee is our current clip, but all the others we tried were delicious.

For years we've been here for cake. a simple looking cake shop that makes a nice tasty selection of cake. fantastic consistency in the quality of the cakes a certificate for the friendly owners. one of many satisfied customers.

Mandarin orange cake is so refreshing. the cakes are soft, moist and not too sweet. my favorites are green tee cake and that. great cake with reasonable price!

Heard so much about the durian cake on this place and decided to try it. the cake itself consisted of layers of sponge cake and durian paste with the meringue on the cake. the sponge cake inside was slightly boiled, but still taste okay. the durian filling / paste layers were very good, taste like durian but prefer it, a bit stronger in taste, maybe a bit more durian paste. the coin on the cake was pretty good.

Always a pleasure visiting this cake shop. Chatting to the owner he has trained in some of the top hotels in Japan and Singapore before coming to Australia, and you can see these influences in his baking, flavours and delightful presentation. My favourite cake is definitely the raspberry one, highly recommended. Looking forward to trying more flavours in the near future!
