China Wok - Appleton

The food was absolutely terrible. I ordered several different dishes, and my General Tso's chicken lunch tasted like it had been leftover from yesterday and reheated in the microwave. The egg roll was a sad, mushy version of what an egg roll should be. We will definitely be crossing China Wok off our list of places to eat. I would give it a 0 out of 10—complete waste of money.

I was on the hunt for another Chinese restaurant since my favorite, China Gardens, was closed. I chose this place because of its high ratings. I ordered two combo platters with General Tso’s Chicken and Lo Mein, which both came with fried rice and an egg roll. I have to say, this place is delicious! The General Tso's Chicken had a nice spicy kick, and the Lo Mein was full of flavor. The fried rice was quite good as well. Although the egg roll was vegetable, I still enjoyed it. I would definitely come back if I'm craving Chinese food and my usual spot is closed.

The food is quite good, but there's not much to elaborate on. Nothing really stood out significantly.

I tried the peanut chicken and General Tso's chicken, and both were so good! We also enjoyed the lo mein.

I ordered General Tso's chicken and crab rangoons, but I was overcharged compared to the menu I had at home. The rangoons tasted as if they had been fried in old oil, and the chicken was mostly dry, resembling jerky. I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but it seems like they've lost their focus on food quality. I don’t usually write reviews, but I would give them zero stars for the taste if that were an option. This is just my opinion.
