No mussels, but greasy sausages instead. Didn 't taste like Paella, didn 't look like Paella. Our entrées, fish soup and Gaspacho tasted almost the same one could eat both after using lots if salt, pepper and chilli. Service was ok and so was the atmosphere! Better grab simple food nearby, e.g. fabulous Pasteis next door!
On the heart of the main street the broodway the restaurant seems to be good: very fashionable look but really poor food. I ate the chipirones fritos and a disgusting paella! they serve touristic food woren as spanish... Spain is thousands kilometrs from Canoa Quebrada and the food served as well!!!
We went there on our first night in Canoa Quebrada, it was just amazing. Ordered a Seafood pasta, which was very well seasoned and a lot of prawns, squid and lobster. For our second and last dinner in Canoa Quebrada we didn't want to take the risk to disappoint, we went there again and was wonderful once more! We ordered a complete paella, what a beautiful dish. Only one tip: Go there before you are hungry it takes around 30 minutes to be served.
A lovely restaurant that serves great food. Very friendly, helpful staff. I had steak which was cooked to perfection my husband had the prawns which were also excellent. Certainly worth a visit.
What can you expect from a Spanish Restaurant located in the middle of a small village near the sea? Believe, I was quite surprised when I decided to give them a chance after a long day driving to there. We ordered a Costa Brava Paella for 3 and certainly it served 4 party. Ok, it took 30 minutes to be cooked but who cares drinking a cold white wine at a peaceful place. Try aldo a Peixe Assado for 2. Great.
