Feedback gevenThe staff at Farsh are absolutely lovely. I have a crush on a waiter there (though they are unaware of my existence). They go out of their way to make sure customers are happy. However, I have visited twice before writing this review and have mixed feelings. I can only give them 3 out of 5 stars. Why the average rating? I ordered the barkburger, but was disappointed to learn that it is made of water buffalo meat instead of actual bark (which is common in India). The meat tasted gamey and too similar to beef for my liking. The bun was dry and fell apart, and the sauces were overly sweet. My suggestion would be to use a different type of bread for the burgers, toast them with butter and garlic paste, use dill pickles instead of cucumber slices, and offer a spicy sauce option for those who enjoy it. The staff should also inform customers that the burgers are not made from actual bark. It seems like the restaurant has a steady flow of customers, so they must be doing something right. Who am I to judge their business practices?
The staff at Farsh are incredibly kind and go above and beyond to ensure you have a pleasant experience. However, my disappointment in the lack of traditional beef in the beef burger led me to give them a 3 out of 5 rating. The meat, which is water buffalo in India, had a gamey taste that I did not enjoy. Additionally, the bun was dry and the sauces were overly sweet. Suggestions for improvement include using brown round bread for burger buns, toasting them with butter and garlic paste, using dill pickles instead of cucumber slices, asking customers about their condiment preferences, and informing them that the meat is not beef. Overall, Farsh may benefit from seasoning the burgers with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, as well as offering fries on the menu. Despite my critiques, the restaurant appeared to have a steady flow of customers, so what do I know about running a restaurant?
