To find it, turn left onto a dirt road just before the church when coming from the beach, and after about 100m you will arrive. The owner, Babu, takes orders and serves while his wife cooks every meal with fresh ingredients from scratch. The food is incredibly delicious and affordable. Since it is a small operation run by the owner couple, you may have to wait a bit if it is crowded. However, the wait is definitely worth it! The restaurant offers typical Indian cuisine, western dishes, excellent fruit salads, and fresh fruit juices. It is a favorite among local expats.
During my stay in Arambol, I visited this restaurant for breakfast. The prices were reasonable, the host was friendly, and the fruit salad with yogurt and honey was fantastic. I was disappointed when I ordered toast and received something more like cake, which I did not enjoy. I cannot comment on the main dishes as I did not try them.
My girlfriend and I made a stop at this restaurant for a snack. It was fantastic - we enjoyed small sandwiches on round bread and some unique onion-mint pakoras. The prices were reasonable, the atmosphere was quiet, and the place was run by a lovely family. I will definitely be returning for another meal on my next trip into town.
While I stayed in Arambol I've been visited this place for the breakfast. It's cheap, the host is nice, and fruit salad is amazing with a lots of curd and honey. I was disappointed once when I ordered toasts - it was made of kind of cake or so, I didn't like it. I wont say about food because I didn't try any main dish.
My girlfriend and i stopped in here for a snack. It was great- small little sandwiches made on the local round bread, and some onion-mint pakoras (never saw those on any menu before, but they were sure nice). Not expensive, quiet, nice family-run place. I'll be happy to eat here again, on my way into town.
