Vines Cafe & Bar - Ararat

Very pleasant lunch with friendly service. Not much to choose from on the menu so I was a bit disappointed with the variety, however our meals were lovely, the drinks cold and the coffee very good.

Oh no! Change of ownership and this place has slipped. Food still pretty good, oh hang on the cheese on the toasted sandwich was not melted, now I think about it only had 1 egg on the eggs benedict. Service , soooo slow. Quicker to drive back to Melbourne for my coffee.Come on Vines ... get the Mojo back.

Beautifully cooked meals. High teas available at specific times of the year. Cakes and slices are always delicious as is the coffee. A good range of food available for breakfast and lunch

My friend and I had a lovely afternoon tea. My friend had a lovely hot coffee and I had my tea in a teapot and in a floral teacup. We also shared a large piece of Carrot Cake which was by far the nicest cake I have eaten. They also have speciality teas from T4 if you want to try something different. I would recommend this cafe to anyone travelling through Ararat.

One of the best coffees we've had for a long time! The friand was divine and beautifully presented - would love to try lunch next time!
