My favorite ramen place in L.A. Very friendly staff be sure to try the pork rice! Put some of the soy-pickled garlic in your ramen. Mmmmmmmm!

After having Tan Tan Ramen in Oahu last year, I've been on a mission to find it in LA. And I haven't found better than Ramen Yukinoya yet! Go with the ground pork and add extra char shiu to really go all in. The spiciness is at the perfect level, and warm friendly service to boot. The regular size was more than enough, I had leftovers too but maybe should've gotten the large for just a dollar extra. They even had a tasty, shoyu-based ramen for my vegetarian wife. We can't wait to return and try more of the menu!
