Sushi In The Box - Arcadia

Was craving sushi and ordered a tempura and beef teriyaki bento and half California roll and half spicy tuna roll. This was my first time ordering from here and I pulled up and noticed ppl were in line at the window. It seems to be take out only. The lady was nice and handed me my meal. I got home and opened up my order and noticed the presentation and the size of the meals. The tempuras were really good, big portion sizes, the teriyaki beef was perfect as well as the salad and rice. The dressing for the salad was really good, it came with a small slice of orange and a small chocolate Candy. The rolls were big sizes as well. With lots of crab and spicy tuna and just the right amount of rice. Food was delicious. I am stuffed and will def be coming back. Highly recommend if you're looking to pick up sushi.

Just ordered four plain salmon rolls and was charged $9 per roll (they called it a Philly roll without the cheese). What a rip off. I could go to an upscale sushi restaurant and be charged less for plain salmon rolls. Their plain tuna rolls are $7.So disappointed bc this place is so close to me. But trying to con me out of a few dollars per roll. Don't like the lack of integrity.

Onigiri Pure rice ball with little to no fillings You pay $2.5 for a almost-plain rice ball, please, if your just looking for steamed rice, there are many places you can get them for better prices. I notice their price had not been changed in four years, it's surprising in California, but their strategy seems to serve lower quality food to maintain the store, what I mean lower is their selling rice instead of sushi, which I don't want to visit anymore.Service was kind of bad, the lady wasn't very nice, I was been asked for a series of questions, I'm having a hard time to understand the logic behind them but she didn't continue and yelled at me for picking up.

A hole-in-wall Japanese restaurant. The prices are good and the sashimi was fresh. The store will be moving till the mall will be torn down. It still offers 50% off on one item if you order one of the destinated food. It has ramen and other bento boxes. The menu has been expanded and the quality is good.

So affordable for what you get, and pretty good quality. if you just go and order you will have to wait- i waited about 25 mins. if you don’t want that call ahead.
